Indications and recommendations
Soft probes are tools of the highest quality. They have a rounded tip and are extremely strong and durable. The fact of having the rounded tip makes it easier for the chicks to swallow.
Soft catheter probing is the safest and cleanest procedure to deliver porridge.
The different diameters of probes allow the food to be supplied to the various species of parrots at each moment of their development.
Thus, for example, for gray parrots the 5 ml probe is suitable for supplying baby food up to 7 days old. The 10 ml probe is ideal for yacos up to 14 days of age; that of 20 is it until 4 weeks of life and from the month it is advisable to use the 50 ml probe.
In the case of nymphs, on the other hand, the probe to use when canyons begin to emerge, at which time the chicks are usually removed from the nest, is the 10 ml probe. Later, the 20 ml one will be useful.
